BIS Standards – Implementations next Month – July 2026
25. June 2026We regularly publish advance information from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on new Quality Control Orders that will soon come into force. Affected products must have BIS certification to be approved for import and distribution in India. Several standards will take effect within the next month, including for Linear Alkyl Benzene.
Quality Control Orders (QCOs) make compliance with certain BIS standards mandatory for affected products. They help ensure quality and safety while protecting people, animals and the environment in India.

Here is an overview of the new Quality Control Orders that will come into force next month.
