The recent regulatory amendments formally rename the governing texts to the Footwear made from Leather and Other Materials (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2026, and the Footwear made from All Rubber and All Polymeric Material and its Components (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2026. These standards are designed to regulate both polymeric materials and leather-based goods, ensuring they satisfy strict technical benchmarks before entering the commercial supply chain.
