{"id":22566,"date":"2023-05-03T17:43:06","date_gmt":"2023-05-03T15:43:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/?post_type=glossary&#038;p=22566"},"modified":"2023-08-10T17:54:58","modified_gmt":"2023-08-10T15:54:58","slug":"air-authorized-indian-representative","status":"publish","type":"glossary","link":"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/en\/glossary\/air-authorized-indian-representative\/","title":{"rendered":"AIR &#8211; Authorized Indian Representative"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>All Indian certifications require an AIR Authorized Indian Representative as local representative to submit and manage the application for certification and to be available to answer questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tasks of the AIR generally include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submitting the application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transmission and reception of original signed documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordination of the tests with the test laboratory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability for any queries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receipt of the certificates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact for questions after the initial certification (e.g. for follow-up certification)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIR can be provided by a branch office, by a wholesaler \/ importer, and in many cases also by the certification partner.
