The mark must be featured on the product in order to be produced, imported or traded.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7069 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/stock-image-59488751-s-2015.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This new measure has been put into action in order to guarantee a high minimum level of quality for cheap leather footwear which is entering India. The notification has been issued by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), so that these products need to be conform to the specified <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/certification-india.com\/en\/bis\/standards\/\">standards<\/a> <\/strong>of the Bureau of Indian Standards.<\/p>\n<p>The affected categories of footwear are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leather safety boots and shoes<\/li>\n<li>Canvas Shoes Rubber Sole<\/li>\n<li>Canvas Boots Rubber Sole<\/li>\n<li>Safety Rubber Canvas Boots for Miners<\/li>\n<li>Leather safety footwear having direct moulded rubber sole<\/li>\n<li>Leather safety footwear with direct moulded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sole<\/li>\n<li>Sports footwear<\/li>\n<li>High ankle tactical boots with PU &#8211; Rubber sole<\/li>\n<li>Antiriot shoes<\/li>\n<li>Derby shoes<\/li>\n<li>Personal Protective Equipment \u2013 Footwear<\/li>\n<li>Industrial and protective rubber knee and ankle boots<\/li>\n<li>All rubber gum boots and ankle boots<\/li>\n<li>Moulded solid rubber soles and heels<\/li>\n<li>Rubber microcellular sheets for soles and heels<\/li>\n<li>Solid PVC soles and heels<\/li>\n<li>PVC sandal<\/li>\n<li>Rubber HawaiChappal<\/li>\n<li>Slipper, rubber<\/li>\n<li>Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) industrial boots<\/li>\n<li>Polyurethane sole, semirigid<\/li>\n<li>Unlined moulded rubber boots<\/li>\n<li>Moulded plastics footwear- Lined or Unlined polyurethane boots for general industrial use<\/li>\n<li>Footwear for men and women for municipal scavenging work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since 2012, the BIS has been gradually expanding the certification catalog and continuously adding additional goods. <a href=\"https:\/\/certification-india.com\/en\/bis\/what-is-bis\/\"><strong>BIS certification<\/strong><\/a> mandatory for many electronic products for industrial and consumer uses.
