The standards concerned relate to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/en\/bis\/what-is-bis\/\">ISI certification scheme (Scheme I) of BIS certification<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steel-Wire-2-1024x585.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28230\" style=\"width:500px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steel-Wire-2-1024x585.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steel-Wire-2-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steel-Wire-2-768x439.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steel-Wire-2-1536x878.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Steel-Wire-2.jpg 1792w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation is expected to become effective six months after its publication in the Official Journal, giving companies sufficient time to comply with the new regulations and complete the process of BIS-ISI certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Micro and small enterprises (MSEs) must comply with specific deadlines set out in the Directive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Small Businesses: November 21, 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Micro Businesses: August 21, 2024<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By introducing ISI certification, the government aims to increase consumer safety and promote competitiveness in these sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This move is expected to have a significant impact on manufacturers and suppliers, prompting them to adapt their operations to the strict quality control measures mandated by the DPIIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in understanding what requirements are needed for your product to be imported into India, please do not hesitate to contact us by <a href=\"mailto:info@certification-india.com\"><strong>email<\/strong><\/a> or phone (Europe: <strong>+49-69-271 37 69 261, <\/strong>US: <strong>+1 773 654-2673<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong>.
