Many footwear products usually require <a href=\"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/en\/bis\/what-is-bis\/\"><strong>BIS certification<\/strong><\/a> to be approved for import and use in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-485320480-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27276\" style=\"width:400px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-485320480-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-485320480-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-485320480-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.certification-india.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-485320480-1.jpg 1254w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FAQ contains a number of detailed clarifications on several questions, for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Which are the footwear products for which the Government has issued Quality Control Orders?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do these QCOs apply only to finished footwear or footwear components\/materials as well?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impact of recent Standard changes for certain footwear categories and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Feel free to contact us for information on the FAQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the Regulatory Authority of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced a new effective date for the QCO 2024 for Footwear made from Leather and other Materials.
