BIS Standards – Implementierungen im nächsten Monat – Oktober 2025
25. September 2025Wir veröffentlichen regelmäßig frühzeitige Informationen des Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) zu bevorstehenden Quality Control Orders. Produkte, die unter diese Regelungen fallen, benötigen eine BIS-Zertifizierung, um nach Indien eingeführt und dort verkauft werden zu dürfen. In den kommenden Wochen treten mehrere neue Standards in Kraft – darunter für Aluminiumhalbzeuge für den Maschinenbau, Werkzeuge wie Schraubenschlüssel und Rohrzangen, Haushaltswaren aus Edelstahl und Aluminium, Metalle und Legierungen wie Nickel und Zink sowie verschiedene Chemikalien.
Das Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) setzt verpflichtende Quality Control Orders (QCOs) um, um sicherzustellen, dass bestimmte Produkte den indischen Qualitätsanforderungen entsprechen. Anders als die freiwillige BIS-Zertifizierung sind QCOs gesetzlich vorgeschrieben – sowohl für Hersteller in Indien als auch für internationale Exporteure. Sie zielen auf den Schutz von Gesundheit, Umwelt und Tieren ab und gewährleisten eine einheitliche Produktqualität im Markt. QCOs betreffen zahlreiche Produktgruppen wie Elektronik, Metalle, Chemikalien und Spielwaren. Bei Nichteinhaltung drohen rechtliche Sanktionen, darunter Geld- oder Freiheitsstrafen.
